Last week, we had the honour of bringing Gameshow Spectacular to the picturesque OBLU XPERIENCE Ailafushi resort in the Maldives for Hummingbird Travel’s annual away day. The event was packed with exciting games, hilarious challenges, and plenty of opportunities for team bonding—all set against the stunning backdrop of turquoise waters and white sandy beaches.

Unlike traditional gameshows, we steered clear of general knowledge trivia for this event, focusing instead on interactive, high-energy challenges. From running around to making guesses, every game was designed to be inclusive, fun, and engaging.
Highlights of the Day
Blindfolded Balloon Challenge This was a standout game! Blindfolded participants had to work together to complete the challenge, leading to plenty of laughter and some truly memorable moments as teammates tried to guide each other with hilarious results.
Higher or Lower A simple yet exciting guessing game where participants had to decide if the next value would be higher or lower. The tension was real, and the cheers when someone guessed correctly were even louder.
Weight Guessing Game A crowd favourite, this challenge tested intuition and teamwork as participants tried to guess the weight of objects. Some guesses were hilariously off, but that only added to the fun!
